Nikki Harrington is a Seattle mom of two and the founder and CEO of Isla + Kai, a brand dedicated to empowering moms to thrive, not just survive, in both motherhood and family travel. After struggling with postpartum anxiety and depression, Nikki reconnected with herself through the healing power of nature, adventure and travel and strives to help other moms do the same. Her love for travel runs deep—at one point, she and her family lived on a sailboat with two kids under two! This adventurous spirit inspired her to create multipurpose travel accessories that make it easy for moms to embrace their dual roles as mothers and adventurers. Her packable, travel-friendly beach tote, sold exclusively on Amazon and frequently named Amazon’s Choice, was featured in the 2024 Best Beach Bags for Moms on the popular family travel blog, Bon Voyage with Kids. When she's not designing products, you’ll find Nikki scheming her next tropical escape, adventuring through the PNW with her kids (and calling it homeschool), or in a committed relationship with her Kindle.
